From 1978, the Tanga Restaurant has opened its doors to all those who want to spend a great time enjoying delicious menus full of enchantment. All the while surrounded by picturesque nature and wildness on the marvellous island of Formentera.

With more than 40 years of experience (which we celebrated in 2018), we continue with the aim of always bringing our good work in the kitchen to the table, maintaining a Mediterranean Cuisine throughout all these years that uses products native to both the sea and the land.

At Tanga Restaurant we offer you the highest quality of traditional dishes from the island of Formentera while enjoying wonderful views by the sea. So when you are tasting any of our dishes let yourself enjoy it with the gentle breeze of Levante blowing, and overlooking the calm sea in the background.

Our history

We opened our doors in 1978, and so we have recently celebrated 40 years! All of it has been a journey through which we have specialised in rices, paellas and dishes made from ingredients from the earth.

Thanks to our friends, our clients and all of the team that makes up Tanga Restaurant, we have managed to reach a second generation.

We have always thought that there are no obstacles to achieving a dream: “Where you can’t keep going, you build a bridge“.
